Covid-19 Statement

We are still here and going strong! After reopening in May as a deli-style take away, we were ready to welcome sit in customers as well when the restrictions lifted in July. As is the case with all hospitality retailers in this strange time, we have come up with new hygiene and safety measures to keep all our lovely customers and staff safe. These measures are as follows:

  • Spaced out tables to allow for social distancing
  • Increased capacity for take away customers and introduction of heat-at-home ‘ready meals’ for those self-isolating or wishing to shield
  • Reduced menu to enable a smaller team to work efficiently and safely together
  • Table service only and contactless payments encouraged where possible
  • More frequent and thorough cleaning processes throughout the day
  • Hand sanitiser for customers and staff to use on entry and around the building
  • Track and trace and QR code to help stop the spread of the virus
  • Blackboard menus only to avoid touch contamination
  • Screen to protect serving counter from airborne germs
  • Doors/windows open when possible to allow better ventilation

We will continue to follow government guidelines, and should the situation deteriorate again, we have lots of ideas up our sleeve to keep you all comforted with cake, hearty food and more!
