HOMEMADE CAKES

All of our cakes are homemade in house by our small kitchen team led by Rachel. As well as constantly evolving flavours, many of our cakes use original recipes created by previous Honey Pot owner and culinary legend Kath Hawkins. Due to the vast range of cake varieties we make, we rotate flavours to keep things fresh and exciting. A typical daily display will include at least two gluten-free options and two vegan cakes, something fruity, something chocolatey, flapjacks, brownies… and more!

In the Autumn think blackberry, honey & thyme polenta cake, warm Bramley apple lattice cake with clotted cream, wholemeal carrot coconut & nutmeg cake with cream cheese frosting, warm banana bread with crunchy peanut butter and salted caramel chocolate brownies. Summer offerings may include rhubarb, orange & almond polenta cake, Cornish strawberry & vanilla pavlova, raspberry & white chocolate flapjack, French chocolate soufflé cake and banana, blueberry, pecan & oat cake.
